Major landslides at Kanaka Durga temple ahead of CM's visit, several feared trapped

Vijayawada (Andhra Pradesh): Three people have been injured and several others are feared to be trapped under debris in the aftermath of a major landslide at Andhra Pradesh's famous Kanaka Durga Temple. Panic ensued after boulders rolled down from the Indrakeeladri hill completely destroying sheds set up for devotees. The incident took place ahead of CM Jagan's visit to the temple. Any major accident was averted at the site as the traffic was halted due to the CM’s visit. Rescue operations are currently underway.
