Landslides near Zojila shut Srinagar-Leh highway

Ganderbal: The Srinagar-Leh highway was closed for traffic early Monday morning after multiple landslides, triggered by heavy rains, hit the stretch near the Zojila Pass, an official said here. The landslides forced closed the highway for traffic movement, the official said. He said that men and machinery have been pressed into service to clear the road. Several vehicles are also stranded on the road.
