Healthy diet and good sleep vital to fight Covid

As Covid cases continue to surge across India, people with co-morbidities are at a greater risk. In conversation with ETV Bharat, advisor to the World Medical Association, Dr. Ramanik Singh Bedi said that people with comorbidities should take extra care. Good sleep and a healthy diet are vital for them to keep the infection at bay. He said that diabetic people should keep their sugar levels under control and should exercise daily. Likewise, good ventilation at home is equally important. He further added that sunbathing can help boost the production of Vitamin D in the body thus increasing the ability to fight any disease including Covid.
