Kolkata: BJP national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya on Sunday said that the law and order situation now in Bengal is leading towards the imposition of presidential rule. Speaking to media persons at Kolkata airport, Vijayvargiya said, "Free and fair election in that state was not possible under the Trinamool Congress (TMC) regime unless President's rule is imposed." "Mamata Banerjee's police and her 'gundas' are spreading terror across the state. Around 10 members of BJP have been killed in these 15 days. But we have full faith in democracy and we will take steps regarding an elected government within the constitutional framework," he said.
