Ex-sarpanch fires in air during tractor rally

Bijnor police on Tuesday evening arrested former sarpanch of Jeetpur village after he fired from his revolver during a tractor rally. Taking cognizance of the incident, SP Dr. Dharamvir Singh said that there was no set program of tractor rally in the area. However, the former sarpanch taking law and order in his hand organised the rally and fired in the air. He also said that police will further investigate the matter.
