Water crisis looms large in Chhattisgarh's Sarguja village

The acute water crisis in Chhattisgarh's Sarguja village has forced people to drink contaminated water. Hand pumps installed in the district under the government welfare scheme have also run dry due to faults in the motor. No action has been taken by the Public Health Engineering department, as per the locals.
