Kolkata: Woman survives suicide attempt at Metro

A woman miraculously survived, when she tried to commit suicide by jumping in front of a metro at Gitanjali metro station in Kolkata. At around 10:30 am, the woman's unforeseen jump towards the metro track shocked all the passengers present at the station. Railway Protection Force and metro station workers reached the spot and rescued her as soon as they were alerted. The woman suffered only minor injuries and was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital.
