Kerala: Woman gives birth in forest

A tribal woman gave birth to a girl in Chalakayam forest in Kerala's Pathanamthitta district. Medical team had reached the spot and examined the woman. According to doctor, both woman and child are stable. They belong to the Malambandaram community. Living in the forest without even a clear footpath, the woman had to deliver her baby amidst the towering trees.
