Graves found on the banks of Ganga river in UP

Graves have been found at Devrakh Ghat near the banks of river Ganga in Prayagraj district in Uttar Pradesh. There is no confirmation if they contained the remains of Covid-19 victims. The graves had saffron cloth spread over them. As deaths surged from Coronavirus infection, the cost of cremation also increased by many times leaving families without money to conduct the last rites according to tradition.
