Rs 2,000 notes worth Rs 8 Cr seized by Maharashtra cops in single haul

The sleuths of Maharashtra Crime Branch, Thane unit, were in for a surprise when they stumbled upon a huge haul of fake Indian currency notes in Rs 2,000 denomination. This led to a seizure of fake currency worth Rs 8 Crore on Saturday. Two people, both of them residents of Palghar, have been arrested in this case. Search for several other accused underway.
