6 pilgrims killed, 45 injured as container rams into tractor trolley

CCTV footage of an accident shook the netizens where six pilgrims were killed and 45 others were severely injured after a speeding container smashed into a tractor trolley carrying around 70 pilgrims heading to Uttamnagar Gurdwara. The accident took place on the UP-Uttarakhand Sirsa border near Kichha Sitarganj Highway on Sunday. According to the Tehsil administration out of 70 pilgrims, 6 died on the spot, 45 are severely injured while 19 suffered minor injuries. All of the pilgrims were residents of Basghar in Udham Singh Nagar and in the video, the container is seen ramming into the tractor trolley. The deceased were identified as Suman Kaur (15 years), Akash (8 years), Raja ( 6 years), Gurunamowai (30 years), Jassi (35 years), and Bhajan Singh (32 years).
