Watch: Red panda born in Berlin as part of global breeding program
🎬 Watch Now: Feature Video
For the first time in nine years, a rare red panda was born in Berlin's Tierpark zoo, and the red-brown ball of fur now carefully looks around with his big round eyes, yawns and curls up in his little den. The red panda cub is now about the size of a guinea pig and is the 10th young panda to grow up at the zoo. The greatest threat to the red panda is the ongoing destruction of its habitat in the Himalayas.
