Endangered Hawksbill baby turtles began their journey towards the sea after hatching on the isolated beaches of the Thai island of Koh Samui, which was left devoid of tourists following the coronavirus pandemic. Turtles lay their eggs in dark, quiet places and environmentalists believe the stay-at-home measures and flight bans may have provided a chance for the turtles to spawn and hatch in safety.
