Lion patrol: Killers turn saviours in Tanzania

Over the past decade, a Tanzanian nonprofit has helped to train more than 50 lion monitors, from communities on the Maasai steppe to help shepherds shield their cattle from lions in the pasture. Across Africa, the number of lions dropped by more than 40 per cent in two decades.
