Jakarta, the sinking city. Can it be saved?

In the last ten years, North Jakarta has sunk by 2.5 metres. Change of the 500 metres area from the northern coast of Jakarta and turn it into a forest or a green open space, it will be a natural counterbalance to the abrasion process.
