Market Roundup: Sensex sheds 143 points; petrol, diesel prices remain unchanged

Mumbai: Equity benchmark Sensex dropped 143 points on Friday, dragged by losses in financial stocks and negative cues from Asian peers. Similarly, the NSE Nifty shed 45.40 points to close at 10,768.05. On the other hand, Oil marketing companies kept retail prices of petrol and diesel unchanged for the third consecutive day.
