INTERVIEW: ISIS suspect Abu Yusuf's mother urges govt to forgive her son

In an exclusive interview with ETV Bharat, the mother of the suspected ISIS operative Mohd Mustakeem Khan, alias Abu Yusuf has urged the government to forgive him. "He has four kids. Where will they go?” she said. She also said that the 36-year-old was a “very good person” who never fought with anyone and that he never imagined he would take to terrorism. Abu Yusuf was resident of Balrampur in Uttar Pradesh. According to police, Yusuf who was arrested from Delhi on Friday had planned to carry out terror strikes in Delhi’s crowded areas on the instruction of his handlers in Afghanistan.
