Coronavirus is now behaving like common cold and cough, says health expert

With India ranking third worldwide in terms of coronavirus cases, Director of Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology, Rakesh Mishra in an exclusive interview with ETV Bharat said that the virus is now functioning like the common cough and cold. He added that the onus of protecting oneself from the virus is on the people. Further, he asserted that the only option to deal with the deadly virus is to ensure random testing and providing as much facilities as possible, particularly for elderly people and to people with co-morbidities, whether they can be provided temporary shelters elsewhere with good social care.
