Centre's denial to comment over Pegasus issue is autocracy: KC Venugopal

On being asked about his reaction to Opposition parties demanding a probe in the Pegasus matter but the Centre not even willing to talk about it, Congress Rajya Sabha MP KC Venugopal told ETV Bharat that the Centre's denial to comment over the issue is autocracy. The AICC General Secretary in charge said, "This is autocracy. We want democracy. In a democracy, we are for debate and discussion. In Parliament, apart from the government business, there should also be a discussion over those issues which concerns the common people and national security. But they don't want to discuss anything. If they are not scared of anything, then they should hold discussions on Pegasus."
