'BJP didn't feel the need for Triple Talaq Bill, I convinced PM'

In an exclusive interview with ETV Bharat, former Union Minister Mohammad Arif Khan revealed how a touching incident of a woman being given Triple Talaq prompted him to write a letter to PM Modi. "BJP did not find the Bill necessary as it thought the Supreme Court order would suffice, but PM Modi was convinced by my letter that a law was required," he said.
