Avoid unnecessary visit to hospital suggests, PGI Chandigarh Director

Amid rising covid cases, the country has been witnessing a huge scarcity of beds, oxygen and other medical equipment. To lessen the burden of the hospitals, professor Jagat Ram, PGI Chandigarh has advised the patients to isolate themselves at home if the oxygen level and body temperature is normal. This will encourage the patient to avoid an unnecessary visit to the hospitals. However, he advised consulting a doctor if temperature or oxygen level fluctuates below or above normal condition.
