Tamluk: Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP and relative of Suvendu Adhikari, Dibyendu Adhikari on Saturday cleared the air on his stand with the Mamata Banerjee government and said that he is a soldier of TMC and will be in it in the future too.
"I am a soldier of Mamata Banerjee and will be in the TMC in the future as well. I clear my position from my side," Dibyendu said.
He added that joining BJP was a personal decision of Suvendu Adhikari and said, "Although I am in the same family, there is nothing to deny it. But, I am a Trinamool MP and will remain like that."
While Dibyendu put up his side, Kanthi MP, Trinamool district president and father of Suvendu Adhikari, Sisir Adhikari refused to comment to on it.

TMC strongman Suvendu Adhikari quit the All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) and joined BJP. He took Amit Shah's hand and wore BJP jersey at the college ground in Medinipur.
Soon after joining the saffron party, Shuvendu called for the removal of Abhishek Banerjee as 'Tolabaj Bhaipo'.
The Adhikari family wields considerable influence in at least 40-45 assembly segments in West Medinipur, Bankura, Purulia, Jhargram, parts of Birbhum - mainly in the Junglemahal region and areas in minority-dominated Murshidabad district.
