Kolkata (West Bengal): No need of a bypass surgery on Sourav Ganguly, says a doctors panel which is keeping a constant vigil on his health situation and taking appropriate measures from time to time. The BCCI President will have to go through angioplasty as two of three of his arteries are still blocked. Tomorrow, the medical board will take a decision on the date of his angioplasty.

The BCCI President was admitted to a private hospital in Kolkata at 1 pm with chest discomfort, heaviness of head, vomiting and a spell of dizziness while performing physical exercise in the home gymnasium at around 11 am.

Today morning, the former Indian skipper went through a routine ECG and the report is satisfactory. Blood pressure, pulse rate and oxygen level are also normal.

"He will be requiring another angioplasty because of the triple vessel disease. But, that depends on how his condition is. He is, however, out of danger now," one of the doctors treating Ganguly said on Saturday.
