Kolkata (WB): While several governments have assured a bounty to the people of West Bengal in the past, little concrete has been done on the ground. Keeping this in mind, the BJP will organise a massive public outreach campaign in the Greater Kolkata region, where 40 seats will go to polls in the remaining four phases.
Sources in the BJP, West Bengal, said the party will highlight governance and infrastructure-related issues in the state during the 2,000 small potho sabhas (road assemblies) it will hold in over 40 Assembly constituencies in and around Kolkata.

Various national and state leaders of the BJP will reach out to a plethora of communities residing in Kolkata to share with them the BJP’s vision for Kolkata in specific and the state in general. In order to effectively reach out to the general public and keeping in mind the convenience of people, these meetings will take place in the evening in easily commutable areas such as housing societies and community centres among others.
