Berhampore (West Bengal): A boy in West Bengal's Berhampore reportedly murdered his father in order to save his mother from being strangled on Sunday.
Boy killed father to save mother from strangulation
The deceased was identified as Sukumar Hazra.
The incident happened after an inebriated Sukumar tried to strangle his wife and their son Bishwanath Hazra killed his father using a sharp weapon to save his mother.
Bishwanath is now absconding and a suo-moto case has been lodged against Bishwanath by the Berhampore police.
