21 bombs recovered in WB's Kankinara

As many as 21 bombs were seized from West Bengal's Kankinara area on Friday. Police arrested three people who were allegedly engaged in bombing and spreading violence in the area.

Kankinara(West Bengal): As many as 21 bombs were seized on Friday from Kankinara area in North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal and three people arrested in that connection, police said.

"Three accused Biki Sau, Kundan Fottik and Saroj Sau were caught from the Kankinara area for allegedly involved in the bombing," said police.

Police have conducted a search operation in the area on Friday and recovered 21 crude bombs, police added.

However, after the violence that has been taken place at Bhatpara-Kankinara area during the Lok Sabha election, police have continuously conducted several raids in the area and recovered crude bombs.
