Kolkata (West Bengal): At least two people were killed and five got critically injured after the bombs, they were allegedly manufacturing, went off inside an abandoned house in Murshidabad district on Friday night.
Their identities are yet to be established as the condition of those injured and undergoing treatment at a hospital is said to be critical.
The incident took place at Ahiron Padua village of Suti town in Jangipur subdivision of the district around 9 pm on Friday.
The house has been damaged completely as the thatched roof of the house, where they were making bombs, also blew off in the explosion. Police said that the owner of the house is absconding and a hunt is on to nab him.
Presently, the wife of the house owner is being interrogated in connection with the incident.
