Gairsain (Uttarakhand): Higher Education Minister Dr Dhan Singh Rawat inaugurated the state's 662 e-Panchayat Seva Kendra in the state's summer capital, Gairsain (Bharadisain). Uttarakhand is the third state in the country where the facility of e-Panchayat Seva Kendra is being provided in all Nyaya Panchayats.
Following the inauguration, he also spoke to the beneficiaries of e-Panchayat Seva Kendra through video conferencing. He said that with the efforts of Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat, e-Seva has been launched in all Nyaya Panchayats.
Through this service, 12 types of services up to Nyaya Panchayat level will be easily available to the people. All the services available through the Common Service Centers will also be available through the e-Panchayat Seva Kendra.
In the coming months, e-Panchayat Seva Kendras will also be connected to the 'Apani Sarkar' portal. It was announced by the Chief Minister last month. Dhan Singh Rawat said that to further strengthen these services at the Gram Sabha levels, E-seva centers will be expanded.

Through the Bharat Net 2.0, the Union Government has agreed to provide an amount of Rs 2,000 crore to implement high-speed internet in villages. With the full availability of the network in rural areas, these services will increase further and public problems will also be resolved rapidly.
Under the ownership scheme, people will get their rights in every village without any dispute. Panchayati Raj Minister Arvind Pandey said it is an important initiative in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Digital India program.
