Uttrakhand teenagers are risking their lives to beat the summer heat. Teenagers aged 13-14 years leap from the bridge into the water in Ganganor.The height of the bridge is about 40-50 feet.

Roorkee: With rising mercury levels, in the plains of Uttrakhand, people are adopting various methods to beat the heat. However, teenagers in Ganganor are putting their lives in danger and are plunging into the mouth of death.

Teenagers aged 13-14 years leap from the bridge into the refreshing water below as temperatures soar to an unbearable rate. The height of the bridge is about 40-50 feet.

Though adequate security arrangements have made by the administration, these children still perform stunts and jump into the river from the bridge. Ghats build by the administration are installed with iron railings and chains for the safety of the people.

When Supretiendent of Police, Desh Navneet Singh, was asked about the incident he said, instructions have been given to Chetak police to prevent such incidents from taking place.
