Rishikesh (Uttarakhand): India's first Environment School is going to be established soon in Uttarakhand, as it was revealed by the sources.
The matter has come to light just after the Ex-Chairman of Dabur India Limited and the Chairman of the Mobius Foundation, Pradeep Burman had conducted a meeting with the speaker of Uttarakhand Assembly Premchand Aggarwal on November 5.
According to the sources, they have discussed the establishment of the Environment School in Uttarakhand during the meeting.
Burman had informed the speaker that Mobius Foundation and Alternative Green Energy Solutions Pvt Ltd. are actively working in the fields of population control, education and renewable energy.
However, the objective behind the formation of the school will be on developing strong environmental and ethical values among the students, Burman added.

On this occasion, Burman said that the need for environmental education is fast growing as the environment is being hampered rapidly. Keeping this need in mind the Mobius Foundation intends to develop a different kind of environment school in the hills of Uttarakhand.
After being informed, the speaker Premchand Aggarwal has expressed his pleasure to the idea of setting up an Environment School in the hill state.
He gave assurance that the Mobius Foundation will get full support to develop such a school from the government.
He further said that the foundation is setting up a unique and new example by developing school dedicated to environmental studies.
However, he said that every individual must take steps to replenish natural resources, by adding that he is confident enough that this school will be a stepping stone in achieving the same.
