Dehradun: A mischievous miscreant has sent obscene photos and videos to the WhatsApp number issued by Uttarakhand Police for complaints of black marketing of medical equipment and other assistance. This number is associated with the women's helpline as well. Dial 112 in charge has filed a report and police have started an investigation.

To ban the hoarding of medical devices during the Corona crisis and to provide medicines, oxygen, plasma and necessary materials to the public, DGP Ashok Kumar recently issued a WhatsApp number 9411112780 through the 112 helpline control.

People are also seeking the help of the police through this number. Based on complaints received through this number, the STF and other police agencies are taking action against black marketing in the state.
Meanwhile, a miscreant has sent a pornographic photo and video to this number. The investigation has been started by the police by filing a case under the IT Act.
