Lucknow: Urdu Poet Munawwar Rana's daughter Urusa Rana expressed contentment after Minister of Home Affairs Amit Shah said that he is open to meet anyone who wants to discuss about the contentious Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).
Thereafter, the protesters of Shaheen Bagh said that they will go and meet the Union Home Minister at his residence on Sunday afternoon with their demands.
Talking to ETV Bharat, Urusa Rana said, "It's good that the Union Minister is ready to have a fruitful discussion with the protesters. We just want the Centre to take back this 'black' law."
"Although the Union Minister took time to realise the issue, I'm glad that he is ready to hold talks," added Rana.
The protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) at Lucknow's Ghanta Ghar has developed into another Shaheen Bagh.
The protest at Lucknow's Ghantaghar started on January 17.
