Man suspected of killing girlfriend arrested in UP

Kajal, a resident of Mohalla Kheda near Haldaur went missing from her house on August 31. Salim, who belonged to the same village and believed to have been in a relationship with Kajal, has been arrested.

Bijnor (UP): The body of a missing woman was found in a forest in Bijnor district of Uttar Pradesh on Sunday, reports said.

Kajal, a resident of Mohalla Kheda near Haldaur went missing from her house on August 31.

Her father Surendran, who suspected the woman's lover Salim of involvement in the incident, made a complaint to the police, according to reports.

Salim, who belonged to the same village and believed to have been in a relationship with Kajal, has been arrested.

Reports said he was annoyed by Kajol speaking on the phone and strangled her before leaving her body in Hardaspur forest, police said.
