Lucknow: Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath on Saturday issued a notice asking the cabinet ministers and officials not to use mobile phones during the cabinet meetings.
"No one is allowed to bring their mobile phones during the cabinet meeting," read the notice.
The UP CM has taken this initiative to avoid any kind of disturbance during the important cabinet meetings that will help to maintain the secrecy of office.
Chief Secretary, Anup Ch Pandey sent this notice to various ministries asking them not to carry cell phones during the meetings chaired by the CM.
In order to avoid any discrepancies, the token system has been initiated for the ministers by which they can submit their phones before the cabinet meeting.
