Lucknow: A 24-year old youth, working in a private hospital, tried to commit suicide after he did not get his last two months' salary in Uttar Pradesh's capital city on Sunday.
The young man identified as Ankur Singh wrote an emotional suicide letter before trying to hang himself in his room.
According to his friend, Singh was going through a financial crisis for quite some time.
In the suicide note, Singh wrote if anything happened to him then the owners of Mcbell Hospital would be responsible, stating that they were money-minded and were refusing to pay his salary.
Singh also wrote that the hospital authorities exploited the patients as well as its employees, especially the lower rung (workers). He further made a mention about his girlfriend and urged his father to take care of her.
While Singh has been hospitalised, an investigation is underway.
