A video of a cop who resorted to baton charging a woman who violated lockdown norms is doing rounds on social media attracting criticism.

Noida: A video of a policeman baton charging a woman, who violated social distancing norms in Greater Noida, has gone viral on social media.

In the video, a cop can be seen baton charging a woman who got out of a long queue while collecting ration. According to sources, the incident took place on Friday in sector-19.

Further, the video was widely shared on social media with many calling out police action. Local sources say, any administrative action has not been taken so far by the higher authorities against the personnel.
