Ghaziabad: A young man, who went missing about a week ago, is being searched for by police and his family members, sources said.
Nineteen-year-old Tarun was out on work near Hindon river and he was not seen by anyone after that day, his elderly father told ETV Bharat here.
He said the matter was reported to the police and they too are searching for him but there has been no news of Tarun, who was out for work.
Few days ago, a body was recovered from the river and Tarun's father went there to check if it was his son.
The elderly man, who is hoping that his son would return safely someday, also has expectations from the district police, which have reunited over a dozen missing children with their families under an on-going mission 'Khushi' in the past few weeks.
