Maharajganj (UP): A case was filed against Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan in the Chief Judicial Magistrate(CJM) court of Uttar Pradesh's Maharajganj district on Saturday.
A lawyer Vinay Kumar Pandey has lodged the case. In his complaint, Pandey charged that Imran Khan made an objectionable statement in the UNGA to spread enmity between Hindus and Muslims in India.
Speaking to ETV Bharat, Pandey said that, "Vinay Kumar Pandey vs Imran Khan case has been filed in the court. A case has been filed against the Pak PM under section 124(a) and 505(ii) of IPC."
He further added that Imran Khan always instigates a section of people and create disharmony in India.
It is to be noted that the court has fixed October 9 as the next date of hearing.
