Aligarh (UP): A person was critically injured after he was allegedly attacked by Uttar Pradesh State Minister's son and some unidentified miscreants in Aligarh on Wednesday night.
The accused has been identified as Narendra Pratap Singh, son of Raghuraj Singh, State Minister, Uttar Pradesh. The victim has been identified as Rajkumar Singh, who is said to be the relative of Bareli MLA, Thakur Dalvir Singh.
According to the complainant, he was heading towards his village after attending a function in Aligarh. As may as three vehicles came from behind, playing the hooter in which the son of Minister of State Raghuraj Singh was present.
Suddenly, Narendra Pratap came and shouted at him. Following the feud, Narendra shot at him and fled away. The complainant also alleged that the Minister's son has also snatched away his gold chain and watch.

On being informed, locals came to the place of the incident and rushed him to the nearby hospital.
"According to the complainant, he was attacked by Narendra Pratap Singh and other unidentified miscreants. We have registered an FIR against Narendra Pratap and we have initiated a probe in the incident. However, the actual reason behind the incident will be ascertained after the investigation," said, Arvind Kumar, SP, Crime Branch.
