'Ram Mandir will be great symbol of Hindu-Muslim unity'

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's brother Prahlad Modi has said that after the resolution of the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid land dispute, things have changed for better in Ayodhya, and a message goes to the whole nation to live in peace with everyone.

Ayodhya: Prime Minister Narendra Modi's brother Prahlad Modi visited Ram Janmabhoomi and prayed to Lord Ram here on Saturday.

He was accompanied by Iqbal Ansari, the main litigant in the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid land dispute, and by many others on the occasion.

Interacting with the media persons after 'darshan', Prahlad Modi said after the resolution of the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid land dispute, things have changed for better in Ayodhya, and a message goes to the whole nation to live in peace with everyone.

"Ram Mandir would be a great symbol of Hindu-Muslim unity in the country," he asserted.

Speaking on the occasion, Ansari said Ayodhya being a 'dharmnagri' (religious city) will continue to get visitors and it was their duty to make them comfortable.

Last week, Prahlad Modi, who says that he takes the union government policies and programmes to the people and report back to the authorities in case there are issues concerning the same, had said that he does it on his own and Prime Minister Narendra Modi has nothing to with his work.

"I am not a follower of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. I get inspiration from the BJP," he had said.
