Raebareli MLA accusing party at the behest of BJP: UP Congress

Slamming the Congress MLA from Raebareli Aditi Singh over her accusation, senior party leader Siddharth Priya Srivastava stated that Singh is maligning the party's image at the behest of the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Lucknow (UP): Congress MLA from Raebareli Aditi Singh has been suspended from the position of General Secretary of the women's wing of the party.

The women's wing of the party has also initiated anti-disciplinary action against her for accusing the Congress of playing petty politics over the issue of arranging buses to ferry migrants to their homes.

Speaking over this, senior Congress leader Siddharth Priya Srivastava said that she accusing the party at the behest of Bharatiya Janata Party.

"I condemn the accusation made by her. She is doing this at the behest of the BJP. She has the habit of speaking against the party line. The Congress party has been maintaining a distance from her since October 2019 itself," he added.

It is to be noted that a complaint against Singh is already pending with the Assembly Speaker of Uttar Pradesh. The party has also requested for disqualification of her MLA status.
