Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh): Congress general secretary in-charge of eastern Uttar Pradesh Priyanka Gandhi is set to embark on a three-day river ride from Prime Minister Narendra Modi's parliamentary constituency of Varanasi to other eastern UP districts towards the end of the month.
"She (Priyanka Gandhi) will travel by a motorboat across the river route and cover districts like Chandauli, Mau and Ballia, at the end of this month," said party official.
The 47-year-old politician had taken a similar ride across the river route covering a distance of 140 km from Prayagraj and Varanasi last month.

Gandhi along with Congress president Rahul Gandhi and general secretary in-charge of western UP Jyotiraditya Scindia is scheduled to hold a joint rally at Fatehpur Sikri Lok Sabha seat in Agra on Monday to campaign for party's UP president Raj Babbar.
Besides Sikri, Priyanka Gandhi will also visit Barabanki on April 23, Bundelkhand and Unnao between April 24 and 26 and Sitapur and Dhaurhara on April 27.
Keeping up the suspense, the Congress has not yet declared its candidate against Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Varanasi. There has been speculation that it will field Priyanka Gandhi, but the party has so far maintained a studied silence. In a fresh list of candidates, it declared on Saturday night eight are from Uttar Pradesh.
Apart from Varanasi, the party is also struggling to put up a candidate in Lucknow against Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, who is seeking re-election there.
