Azamgarh(UP): Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Wednesday sent a letter and gifts to a little girl named Arbiya Iman here.
"I have bought some gifts for you that you will like. Be the brave girl that you are and give me a call whenever you feel like it. Priyanka aunty," the letter read.
On behalf of Gandhi, representatives from Congress reached the Bilriyaganj based residence of Arbiya and handed her the gifts sent by Priyanka.
The gifts consisted of chocolates, teddy bear and clothes.
District Congress head Praveen Singh said: "I have come here to deliver the gifts sent by Priyanka Gandhi to Arbiya. I am myself very influenced by this little girl."
It is to be noted that Priyanka Gandhi met Arbiya at an anti-CAA protest site in Bilriyaganj.
Gandhi had come to meet the protesting women where she had handed Arbiya a chocolate, talked to her and also gave her, her mobile number.
