Agra: A potato farmer was shot dead by unknown men on Saturday night in Agra's Garhi Sahja. Mahendra Singh was sleeping in a field near a tubewell that's under construction when he was attacked.
Potato farmer shot dead in Agra
When the victim's son Anil reached the field in the morning with tea, he found his father lying in a pool of blood.

He immediately informed the police, after which Etmadpur area officer Archana Singh reached the spot.
The police informed that Mahendra was shot below the ear, causing immediate death.
An investigation is on.
