Barabanki: Suggesting that the families must sensitize boys in order to control incidents of rape and other atrocities against women, Suchita Chaturvedi, member, UP State Commission for Protection of Child Rights, said that it's time that not only the girls but the boys also should be guided and educated on issues like this.
Chaturvedi, who was here to meet the family of the minor girl who was raped and killed, told the media that families of accused in cases like this should be asked to leave the district.
"It's a moral responsibility of all, the state alone can't do much about it," she said.
She said the UP State Commission for Protection of Child Rights is preparing Standard operating procedures to train officials of Child Welfare Committee to stop crime against women.
Chaturvedi reiterated that as girls are watched, the boys too should be monitored by the parents.
