Bahraich: One person was killed and 16 others were injured in a clash between two groups over a property dispute in the Hardi area here, police said on Tuesday.
The incident took place in Shukul Purva village under the Hardi police station area on Monday when supporters of Vinay Kumar and Manoj Dikshit clashed, leaving 16 people injured, Assistant Superintendent of Police Ravindra Singh said.

A man, identified as Asharam (70), succumbed to injuries later. Cross FIRs have been lodged by both the factions in this regard, the ASP said.
Additional police force has been deployed in the village and the situation is under control, he said.
