My party is BJP, my leader is Modi: Mahesh Sharma

Union Minister Mahesh Sharma hailed the BJP government and expressed his confidence that the party would again come to power at the Centre.

Noida: After casting his vote in Gautam Budhha Nagar constituency on Thursday, senior BJP leader and Union Minister of State for Culture, Dr Mahesh Sharma said that his party was Bhartiya Janata Party and his leader was Prime Minister Narendera Modi.

Union Minister Mahesh Sharma said that the people of nation knew that the future of forthcoming years of India was in the hands of PM Modi.

Speaking to media, he praised the efforts and outstanding contributions of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that in the past 5 years, PM Modi had uplifted the status of the country worldwide.

Showing his confidence in BJP, Sharma said that BJP PM will have over 70 seats in Uttar Pradesh and all over India BJP will gain over 400 seats to win the Lok Sabha elections of 2019.

Giving reaction over the misuse of Model Code of Conduct by the party, Sharma stated that BJP respects the Election Commission of India.

Voting began for eight key Lok Sabha seats in western Uttar Pradesh on Thursday in the first phase of the seven-phased elections.

The polling for 8 seats including Saharanpur, Kairana, Muzaffarnagar, Bijnor, Meerut, Baghpat, Ghaziabad and Gautam Buddha Nagar started at 7 a.m. and will continue till 5 p.m.

The 2019 Lok Sabha Elections will be held from April 11 to May 19 in seven phases, with the counting of votes scheduled for May 23.

The results of the Lok Sabha polls will also be declared on May 23.
