Modi Industries donate 300 empty oxygen cylinders

Given the shortage of oxygen cylinders in the district, Seth Umesh Kumar Modi, chairman of Modi Industries based in Modinagar, Ghaziabad has donated 300 empty oxygen cylinders for corona patients.

Modinagar: Given the shortage of oxygen cylinders in the district, Seth Umesh Kumar Modi, chairman of Modi Industries based in Modinagar, Ghaziabad has donated 300 empty oxygen cylinders for corona patients.

Seth Umesh Kumar Modi, Chairman of Modi Industries, has offered 300 oxygen cylinders from the Modi Steel plant. Testing of the gas cylinders will be conducted first and then oxygen will be filled and made available to the general public.

The General Manager of Modi Sugar Mill, PR DD Kaushik, said that there is an acute shortage of oxygen cylinders in the town due to increasing Covid cases. People are not getting even empty cylinders. These 300 empty oxygen cylinders will help the locals during such a crisis.

Meanwhile, Modinagar Deputy District Magistrate has sent the cylinders to Indirapuram, Ghaziabad for further testing. Once the cylinders are back in Modinagar, they will be filled with oxygen and made available to the locals.
