Lucknow: A new shopping mall, with almost all major bands having an outlet or two in it, has been inaugurated in the city.
The huge palatial building has been constructed keeping in mind the cultural and historical values of the city, which is known world over for its food delicacies and many other things.
Named "Phoenix Palassio", the building looks very huge and impressive. It's perhaps the biggest mall of Uttar Pradesh as the mega mall is spread in 13.53 acres.
It has been decorated tastefully with a 200-foot musical fountain, paintings and other things which focus on the great culture of Lucknow.
Sanjeev Sareen, director, Phoenix Palassio, told ETV Bharat here that the need for such a mall was felt long ago as people of the city were wanting to have malls Lucknow on the lines of Delhi and Mumbai.

"People wanted it. There was a need for such a mall which could match the malls in Delhi or Mumbai," he said, adding that it would certainly help people in multiple ways.
On being asked why the mall was inaugurated during the on-going coronavirus crisis, he said that all necessary precautions have been taken for the safety and security of visitors and there was nothing worry about.
Sareen said the mall would certainly help in improving business activities in the city.
