Uttar Pradesh: Unhappy over birth of 4th girl child, man commits suicide

Frustrated by the birth of a fourth daughter, a man in Lalitpur in Uttar Pradesh committed suicide.

Lalitpur (Uttar Pradesh): A man committed suicide by consuming poison in Dhurwara village of Lalitpur in Uttar Pradesh because his wife gave birth to a daughter for the fourth time.

Vinod Ahirwar, who belongs to a family of farmers, yearned for a son. But after the birth of the fourth daughter, he broke down and ended his life.

Ahirwar was frustrated over the fact that he had only girls. This drove him to take this drastic step.
